SA: "The Dons" plan to honour Dunstan with prizes
ADELAIDE, Feb 9 AAP - The Labor Party today called for the introduction of prizes for
leadership and innovation to honour former South Australian premier Don Dunstan whose private
funeral was held in Adelaide today.
Opposition Leader Mike Rann said the prizes, to be called "The Dons", would be awarded for
leadership in the arts, social policy, community affairs, design and technology.
He also proposed that the Playhouse theatre in the Adelaide Festival Centre be renamed the
Dunstan Playhouse, and suggested an International Film Festival and Week …
