Vic: Double fatality brings Vic road toll to 255
MELBOURNE, Aug 1 AAP - A man and a woman have died after their car and a truck collided
near the northern Victorian town of Mooroopna this morning.
The collision occurred about 10.20am (AEST), 3kms west of Mooroopna on the Midland
Highway, police said.
Police said the man and woman died at the scene while the driver of the truck has been
taken to Shepparton Hospital with injuries.
The names of the deceased have not yet been released.
Their deaths bring the Victorian road toll to 255, compared to 245 for the same time last year.
